Fruit tree care.

Do you have a fruit tree in your garden that’s in need of some attention? I am able to offer seasonally specific care of your fruit trees including pruning, weeding and mulching.

Depending on what your hopes are for your tree(s), I can prune trees to be more productive and resistant to disease, restore trees that have become overgrown and inaccessible or help you to manage older trees that are beyond their most productive years but are still a valuable asset to local wildlife.

I can also provide advice and assistance on new trees that you might want to add to your garden including where might be best to plant them and which trees might be best for your space, wants and needs. This includes thinking about care after planting and can include planting itself along with other plants you might want to add and techniques you can use to support the tree to thrive.

Fruit trees are often an integral part of the canopy layer of a forest garden. For more information on forest gardens and how I can help to establish and maintain one, check out the Forest garden design & management page under garden services.
